The Micro-enterprise Inventors Program of Oregon (MIPO) and the Oregon Small Business Development Center Network (OSBDC) will host the SBIR/STTR 2012 National Conference: Crack the Code an event that welcomes entrepreneurs, businesses, government agencies, innovators, universities, and community partners to Portland, Oregon.

SBIR/STTR are competitive federal government grant programs that fund small businesses to develop innovative, high-risk technologies with the goal of increasing private sector commercialization into the marketplace.

The SBIR Network has been chosen to represent the Air Force Medical Support Agency (AFMSA) in setting up and managing their SBIR Program.  This means that there will not be additional opportunity for Small Business owners to participate in this expanded program.  
AFMSA is interested in Medical and Biomedical solutions to requirements that support Air Force Major Commands such as the Air Combat Command (ACC) , the Air Mobility Command (AMC) and the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC).
