Jameson & Company, CPAs is a full service CPA firm specializing in the needs of small businesses that utilize government grants (primarily NIH, and DoEnergy) and contracts (all DoD agencies)to fund their growth.

Most Phase II SBIR/STTR awards are cost-reimbursement type awards funded under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.216-7 and have a 100% chance of being audited by DCAA, DFAS or the provisions of OMB A133.

We help our clients set up and maintain FAR complaint accounting systems in order to avoid problems when audited. More important, we help our clients structure their operations to run at a profit while they grow by educating them on how to best structure their indirect rates and ensure that they get the specialized reports needed to manage their business.

Ed is the second-generation CEO of Jameson & Company, LLC, which was founded by his father Gordon in 1977. Ed joined our firm in 1988, having previously served as a senior consultant in the small business and tax departments at Price Waterhouse, Boston.

Ed has helped clients secure billions of dollars in government grants and contracts. He has extensive experience in the indirect rate recovery process and has settled hundreds of incurred cost submissions. In addition to overseeing all client relationships, Ed consults on cost recovery, strategic and tactical management issues, and contract and grant cost procurement.
